How do I get a library card?

To get a library card, you need to:

  1. Complete the library registration form (available at the circulation desk)
  2. Present a valid student ID or staff ID
  3. Pay any applicable registration fees
  4. Attend a brief library orientation session

Your library card will be issued immediately after registration.

What are the library opening hours?

Regular library hours are:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

How many books can I borrow?

Borrowing limits vary by user type:

  • Diploma students: 5 books for 2 weeks
  • Degree students: 8 books for 2 weeks
  • Postgraduate students: 10 books for 4 weeks
  • Staff: 15 books for 4 weeks
  • Reference materials: Library use only

How can I renew my books?

You can renew books in three ways:

  1. Online through the library portal
  2. In person at the circulation desk
  3. By phone during library hours

Books can be renewed up to 2 times if not reserved by other users.

What are the overdue fines?

Overdue fines are charged as follows:

  • Regular books: $0.50 per day
  • Reserved books: $1.00 per day
  • Maximum fine per book: $10.00
  • Fines must be paid before borrowing additional items

How do I access e-books and databases?

To access electronic resources:
